LPGA Tour rookie and member of the LPGA Futures Tour Ryann O’Toole made a quantum leap up the Rolex Rankings this week. In just her fifth start this season, O’Toole fired rounds of 69-72-75-71 to finish ninth at the U.S. Women’s Open conducted by the USGA moving her up a remarkable 51 places to No. 121. O’Toole is a three-time winner on the LPGA Futures Tour and a former cast member of Golf Channel’s “Big Break Sandals Resorts” show.
U.S. Women’s Open champion So Yeon Ryu jumped up 19 spots to No. 21, while runner-up and LPGA Tour rookie Hee Kyung Seo improved 11 places to No. 20. American Angela Stanford moved herself back into the top 20 to No. 19 in the Rolex Rankings after finishing solo fourth, while Karen Stupples improved nine positions to No. 71.
