Yang’s off season preparations

LPGA.com caught up with Amy Yang for a quick Q&A. Yang talks about her off-season and she stayed in shape during her time off.

LPGA: How much time did you take off from golf and what did you do?
Yang: I took two weeks off this winter and my aunt and cousin came to Orlando so we went sightseeing around Orlando.

LPGA: Describe the best and worst of 2011?
Yang: I think the best thing about 2011 was I had chances to win tournaments. That tells me I was playing a lot better than 2010, and I was very happy about my game. I don’t think I had any worst memory because I had my greatest professional year in 2011.

LPGA: What part of your game did you work the most on during the off season?
Yang: I spent more time on my putting than last off season and it’s getting better.

LPGA: Did you set some goals for 2012?
Yang: For 2012 season I like to have my first win on the LPGA.

LPGA: How did you keep in shape during the off season?
Yang: I worked hard on my fitness. I ran a lot and worked hard on my legs, core, and back. I went to the golf course and practiced nine hours a day six days a week.
